Safety Net
[ Specification of Nets ]
1. Gill Net
One or both ends of the net are secured to an anchor. The net is spread closer to the surface of the sea and is used in bays, inlets, narrow waterways, or shallow points near the coast. The advantages are: it is suited for small fishing grounds, the net form changes little while being spread, it can be moved to the course of the fish, one need not watch all night, etc. There are floating gill nets for sardine, mackerel, flying-fish, salmon, trout, shark, etc.

2. Trammel Net
The trammel net has a small mesh net sheet in the center and large mesh net sheets on the sides. It consists of three net sheets and catches fish by getting them tangled in the mesh.

3. Knotless ( Raschel) net
King Chou manufactures a full range of Raschel net for fish farming cages, sports net and safety nets.

4. Purse Seine
Purse seining is one of the most advanced types of fishing. Purse seines are used to encircle or fence in a school of fish and are pursed at the bottom-roughly like a old-fashioned money bag was pursed-preventing fish from escaping downward. The species of fish suitable for purse seine are those on or near the surface, such as sardine, anchovy, pilchard, tuna, mackerel-pike, cod, capelin etc. 
The net is suspended from the surface, allowing it to develop into a circular form. Since the net must surround the fish without delay, it should be strong, heavy enough to sink quickly, stand well against abrasion when rubbed on the boat side or on the machines on deck.

5. Set Net
The set net consists of a wing net which cuts off the course of the fish and leads them into the packet net that collects the fish.
